Book Description: Karina’s world is turned upside down when she meets the sexy and mysterious Xavier. Something powerful and sensual is unlocked from inside her that she cannot explain and seems to have little control over.
With Xavier’s help, Karina discovers she is a Tuatha De Danann, celtic faeries long thought to have been eradicated. Xavier’s insistence on making her believe troubles Karina, what dangerous secret is he keeping from her? Can her ex partner Ian save her before it’s too late?
It is a fast-paced story, but that is what you expect of a novella. Karina is a very down-to-Earth person (I rather liked that) and she knows what every day of her life will be like – until her break-up and then it’s all fantasy from there. It is a fairly interesting read, with a little bit of violence, set in our modern world it is a fun take on creatures we take for granted in normal paranormal and fantasy books. It is rather raunchy, which almost detracts from the fantasy story-line (which in itself is rather cool). If you’re into the paranormal and love stories, this is a novella for you.
